The Role

Due to the successful growth and restructure of our suppression team, we now have a rare opportunity for a Fire Technician to cover regional areas across NSW on a DIDO/FIFO 7 on 7 off roster.

Demonstrating a positive attitude as well as having a strong mechanical aptitude, you will have the opportunity to further diversify your experience by working across our various United Safety branded Fire Safety products and systems.

Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive Fire Suppression Industry knowledge with experience in mobile fire suppression ( Preferred )
  • Experience within a role that entailed “out on the field” services
  • Candidate can be based out anywhere on the East coast
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Valid Australian drivers’ license
  • Trade Qualified – desirable, not essential

The Role

We are currently seeking a Field Service technician/Electrician to join our team based in Lithgow with some regional travel required. This is hands on role that will suit someone with industry experience, or someone with a mechanical background or mechanical aptitude that has a willingness to learn.

Ideal Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi-site or decentralised environment.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, awards, and Fair Work obligations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both face-to-face and virtual.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing demands.
  • Experience supporting national HR projects or initiatives.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

We are looking for a warehouse / storesperson in our shared facility. This role will require experience in picking, packing, receipting of goods, dispatching and the organised upkeep of the warehouse.

Sprinkler Fitter/Wet Fire Technician

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team based in Newcastle NSW. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone with experience or wet fire system knowledge.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Completing scheduled and periodic testing of Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Tanks, Hydrants and hose reel systems to AS1851-2012
  • Identifying and reporting on defects and system faults
  • Assisting with repairs and modifications to wet fire systems
  • Requirements of a Licence for water plumbing/Fire sprinkler systems & or Fire protection systems
  • Maintaining awareness to adhere with individual site WH&S policies
  • Ability to liaise with internal staff effectively regarding any work changes and schedule updates

Ideal candidate

  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with Commercial/Industrial/Mining customers or sites.
  • Previous experience or knowledge with wet fire systems
  • Hold a current Australian manual driver’s licence
  • Demonstrate a positive / energetic attitude
  • Pass a full medical including ongoing random drug & alcohol tests
  • Able to travel regionally occasionally with some overnight stays when needed.
